APPEALS
1. WHO CAN APPEAL.
A husband or a wife or any litigant can appeal.

2. WHAT CAN BE APPEALED.
A final judgment can be appealed and only some of the court orders can be appealed; not all of them.

3. COST OF APPEALS.
Around $300 to $1,000 but these are not fees.

4. HOW LONG DOES AN APPEAL TAKE.
Between two months to one and a-half years.

5. DENIAL OF AN APPEAL.
Means that the judge’s decision stands as written.

6. REVERSAL OF A DECISION.
Means that the judge’s decision is wrong and the issue will have to be relitigated or is changed by the Appellate Court’s decision.

7. ATTORNEY’S FEES.
Ranges between $5,000 and $50,000.
