CHILD SUPPORT
1. TEMPORARY CHILD SUPPORT.
Money paid from the filing of the petition to the entry of the final judgment.

2. PERMANENT CHILD SUPPORT.
Money paid from the date of the final judgment to the emancipation of a child.

3. ACTUAL INCOME.
All income earned or received.

4. IMPUTED INCOME.
An amount of income imputed to the unemployed or under employed spouse.

5. CHILD SUPPORT OVER 18 YEARS OF AGE.
Payable for a child who is unable to be independent after the age of eighteen.

6. PAYMENT TO CUSTODIAL PARENT.
Child support can be paid directly to the recipient rather than being paid to the court .

7. PAYMENT THROUGH THE COURT.
Child support can be paid through the court rather than directly to the recipient.

8. CHILD SUPPORT GUIDELINE AMOUNT.
This is determined by a chart which is based upon the combined net monthly income of the mother and father.

9. CHILD SUPPORT LOWER THAN GUIDELINE AMOUNT.
Child support can be lower than the guideline amount based upon certain circumstances.

10. CHILD SUPPORT HIGHER THAN GUIDELINE AMOUNT.
Child support can be higher than the guideline amount based upon certain circumstances.

11. MODIFICATION OF CHILD SUPPORT (REDUCTION).
Child support can be reduced based upon a change of circumstances of the mother, father, or child.

12. MODIFICATION OF CHILD SUPPORT (INCREASE).
Child support can be increased that the guideline amount based upon certain circumstances of the mother, father, or child.
